Members are invited to participate in the 2011 intersessional meetings of the Working Group on Statistics, Assessments and Modelling (WG-SAM) from 11 to 15 July and the Working Group on Ecosystem Monitoring and Management (WG-EMM) from 11 to 22 July.

In accordance with Conservation Measure 21-02, Members are advised that the Republic of Korea has notified a replacement fishing vessel due to force majeure (attached).



The Jung Woo No. 1 has been replaced by the Sunstar in the notifications for exploratory fisheries in Subareas 88.1 and 88.2 in 2012/13.

Under Article XIX.2 of the Convention, a draft budget for the ensuing year and a forecast budget for the subsequent year are to be distributed 60 days in advance of the annual meetings of the Commission and Scientific Committee.



The budget paper has been prepared as meeting document CCAMLR-XXXI/04. It contains the draft budget for 2013 and forecast budget for 2014, together with explanatory notes, and a review of the 2012 budget.

In accordance with Financial Regulations 5 and 6, Members’ contributions towards the 2012 budget become due on 1 January 2012. Contributions are payable no later than 1 March 2012, being 60 days after the due date.
