Members will be aware that there is only a short period between the conclusion of the recent Workshop on MPAs in Brest, France, and the official deadline for the receipt of Working Papers for SC-CAMLR–XXX on 9 September. As a result, the Chair of the Scientific Committee, Dr D. Agnew, in consultation with the Secretariat, has agreed to an extension to the submission deadline for Working Papers arising from the Brest Workshop for consideration at this year’s Scientific Committee. The agreed guidelines are:

Members are invited to participate in the 2011 meeting of the Working Group on Fish Stock Assessment (WG-FSA) to be held from 10 to 21 October 2011, at the Commission’s Headquarters, 181 Macquarie Street, Hobart, Australia. A letter from the Convener of WG-FSA, Dr Christopher Jones, is attached, along with a Provisional Agenda and Annotated Agenda for this year’s meeting.
