TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION AND THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

Members are advised to urge their nominated participants to register online for CCAMLR-XXX. This may be done through the ‘Meeting Information and Documents’ webpage of either the Commission Members Only or the Scientific Committee Members Only sections of the website.

Participants who do not require hard copies of meeting papers may register online up until 14 October 2011. However, participants who wish to collect hard copies of meeting papers on arrival at the meeting venue must register online no later than 30 September 2011. Participants who experience difficulties with registering online should contact the Secretariat (registration@ccamlr.org).

Members should note that online registration does not constitute official notification of attendance. Members are still required to notify the Secretariat in advance of the meeting, the names of their representatives, alternate representatives and advisers. A participant’s online registration will not be processed unless official notification of his/her attendance has been received from the Member concerned. Members should also note that participants who register online are still required to submit a Personal Information Form if they require a visa to enter Australia.

Registration will be available at the meeting venue for those participants who do not register online. However, hard copies of meeting papers, if required, will not be immediately available, but may be provided subject to time constraints. As part of an ongoing process to reduce paper consumption, document packages will also be available to all participants on a memory stick.
