Members intending to participate in a new or exploratory fishery in 2012/13 are required to submit notifications and related information to the Secretariat as follows:

Preliminary assessments of the potential for proposed bottom fishing activities to have significant adverse impacts on vulnerable marine ecosystems (CM 22-06, Annex A), to be provided for notifications for bottom fisheries identified in CM 22‑06 (paragraphs 1 and 2) |
Each notification must be accompanied, or followed within one month, by a payment of A$8 000 in respect of each vessel and fishery notified (CCAMLR-XXIV, paragraph 3.12).
Guidelines for the submission of these notifications are attached, and the Secretariat will acknowledge receipt of all notifications and payments.
