In accordance with Conservation Measure (CM) 31-02, paragraph 7, the Secretariat was informed on 04 June 2021 that the Korean-flagged vessel Sae in Leader will not immediately depart the closed fishery for Euphausia superba in Subarea 48.1 per CM 31-02, paragraph 3. 

The vessel advises that all gear has been removed from the water prior to the fishery closure as announced by COMM CIRC 21/71–SC CIRC 21/96 and that the vessel will depart Subarea 48.1 as soon as possible after the completion of a transhipment.
