The recent announcement of the dates of the Harmonisation Symposium in July 2024 (COMM CIRC 24/32 SC CIRC 24/25) was made after the first call for General Capacity Building Fund travel assistance applications had closed (COMM CIRC 24/17). To enable Members to apply to the GCBF for assistance with travel to the Symposium the GCBF Panel has decided the following:

• the second and final call for travel applications to the GCBF will be for travel taking place from 1 September 2024 onwards and to the Harmonisation Symposium (16-20 July 2024).
• the closing date for the second call for travel applications to be received by the Secretariat will be brought forward from 23:59 UTC 30 June 2024 to 23:59 UTC 7 May 2024

The timetable for general applications is unchanged as per COMM CIRC 24/17, with a deadline of 23:59 UTC on 30 June 2024 for applications to be received by the Secretariat.

Please note that no late applications will be considered.
