The Secretariat announces two international internships to be hosted by the Secretariat in 2024. The internships are made possible with funding from the China Contribution Fund.

CCAMLR International Internships on technical and scientific subjects are open for application from any person who is a citizen of a Member of the Commission. Although they are primarily aimed at actively enrolled graduate or postgraduate students, applications from early career professionals may be accepted. The internship aims to provide applicants with an opportunity to gain experience in the work of a multilateral conservation and management organisation as well as acquiring research skills necessary to undertake a professional role in the discipline of interest. Remuneration is not provided, however, return international travel to Hobart and a significant contribution towards living expenses is available.
