TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION AND THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
The Secretariat is pleased to announce another milestone in the web redevelopment project. This phase of the project includes progressive application of the new design across the website. In the first phase, we applied the new design to the Conservation Measures area of the website:
- The sections providing the ability to browse and download conservation measures, including all previous versions of individual conservation measures, and the section providing additional linked information, are available in the new design at cm.ccamlr.org. This site is also accessible through ‘Browse conservation measures’ under the ‘Conservation measures’ tab of the main website (www.ccamlr.org).
- The new design is fully mobile responsive and is designed to provide faster loading speeds, increased ease of navigation and smoother transitions between the four languages.
- The section providing links to all historical publications of the Schedule of Conservation Measures in Force remains accessible through ‘Browse conservation measures’ under the ‘Conservation measures’ tab of the main website (www.ccamlr.org).
Please be aware that some features (e.g. the link in the top navigation links to ‘Conservation and Management’) are currently not working. All outstanding issues will be completed in the final phase of the web redesign project.
Further information, including screen shots, is available on the Website redevelopment and new brochure e-group.
The Conservation Measures section is one of the most frequently visited parts of our website and we are pleased to share these improvements with you. If you have any comments on the new design, please let us know.
Sincerely
Dr David Agnew
Executive Secretary
