Consistent with the Commission’s decision in 2002 (CCAMLR-XXI, paragraph 3.13), every four years the Secretariat develops a new Strategic Plan for approval by the Commission. At CCAMLR-40, in CCAMLR-40/05 (paragraph 17), the Secretariat indicated that it would consult this year on a draft of the next four-year Strategic Plan. The e-group Secretariat Strategic Plan 2023–2026 has been set up for this purpose.

We attach for your information the consultation documents available on the e-group. The Secretariat welcomes comments on the draft plan by Friday 10 June 2022.
