CCAMLR was established by international convention in 1982 with the objective of conserving Antarctic marine life.
TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION AND THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
In accordance with Article IX.6 of the Convention, Members are advised that the conservation measures adopted at CCAMLR-39 and notified to all Members on 6 November 2020 (COMM CIRC 20/52–SC CIRC 20/48) become binding to all Members on 5 May 2021. As advised in COMM CIRC 20/163–SC CIRC 20/124, these measures are available for download and are published in the Schedule of Conservation Measures in Force 2020/21.
