In 2019 the Scientific Committee agreed to continue development of the proposed C2 form and fishery data manual (WG-FSA-2019, paragraph 2.22 and Table 2; SC-CAMLR-38, paragraph 14.1v). However, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the relevant workshops and working group meetings limited progress on this item last year.

In addition to this agreed work on the C2 forms, the Secretariat invites Members to provide feedback on all aspects of the CCAMLR fine-scale catch and effort data forms C1 and C5 (available from the website).

In order to progress this work, the Secretariat welcomes engagement with Members via the Revision of CCAMLR catch reporting forms e-group.

The initial deadline for comments to the e-group is 31 March 2021 to allow the proposed updated forms to be presented to the appropriate working groups and then to the Scientific Committee and Commission at CCAMLR-40.
