Members are referred to COMM CIRC 12/86–SC CIRC 12/44 of 13 July 2012 inviting Members to attend the forthcoming annual meetings of the Commission and the Scientific Committee at CCAMLR Headquarters, 181 Macquarie Street, Hobart, Australia, from 22 October to 1 November 2012.

The Commission’s Provisional Agenda and Annotated Agenda, and the Scientific Committee’s Provisional Agenda and Annotated Agenda have been prepared and are being distributed, in accordance with Rule 17 of the Commission’s Rules of Procedure and Rule 7 of the Scientific Committee’s Rules of Procedure respectively.

• Information note containing details on the meeting venue and facilities, registration and accommodation
• Revised proposed schedule for the meetings
• Guidelines for the submission of papers to both the Commission and Scientific Committee meetings
• Meeting documents as they become available.

Members are reminded to register online as well as submitting an official notification to the Secretariat, listing all participants of the delegation and indicate their roles (Head of Delegation/Representative, Alternate Representative or Delegate) in each meeting. Overseas participants travelling to Hobart to attend CCAMLR meetings are urged to pay particular attention to the Australian visa requirements.
