Members are advised that the Secretariat has prepared preliminary STATLANT data for 2010/11 (refer CCAMLR-XXVI, paragraph 4.89; SC-CAMLR-XXVI, paragraphs 13.5 to 13.11). Members involved with fishing or fishery surveys in the Convention Area in 2010/11 will receive an email by 2 February 2012 containing their preliminary STATLANT data for 2010/11 and an explanatory note.

Members are requested to validate the preliminary STATLANT data for 2010/11, taking note of any comments included in the data. Amendments and corrections should be made on the Excel file provided in the email and returned to the Secretariat before 9 March 2012.

Members may also wish to review previous annual catch, effort and trade data in the latest volume of the Statistical Bulletin, and report any amendments or corrections to the Secretariat.
