Members are advised that the revised Scientific Observers Manual is now available in all languages on the CCAMLR website.

Members are also advised that, in accordance with the decisions made at the 2011 meetings of the Scientific Committee, the scientific observer logbooks and cruise report format have been updated and placed on the website in all languages.

National technical coordinators of scientific observer programs have been asked to ensure that their observers receive the revised manual, updated logbooks and cruise report format for use during the 2012 season.
