The Secretariat advises that the exploratory fishery for Dissostichus mawsoni in the area south of 70°S of Subarea 88.1 and SSRUs 882A–B, as referred to in Conservation Measure (CM) 41-09 will close at will close at 2359 UTC on 03/02/2024.

Vessels must not deploy any gear after 2359 UTC on 02/02/2024.

This closure notice has been issued following the procedure described in COMM CIRC 23/121 and in CM 31-02.
