The Secretariat advises that the exploratory fishery for Dissostichus mawsoni in Subarea 88.1 and SSRUs 882A–B (area north of 70°S), as referred to in Conservation Measure 41-09, will close at 2359 UTC on 10/12/2021.

Vessels must not deploy any gear after 2359 UTC on 9/12/2021.

This closure notice has been issued following the procedure described in COMM CIRC 21/151–SC CIRC 21/162 and in Conservation Measure 31-02.
